Lina Vong
Lina grew up and went to school in the small town of Newport, New Hampshire. A town where a interest in the arts is sometimes looked down upon. One of her favorite books is Ethan Frome, and she always referred to the character and life of Ethan as to what the people were like living in Newport. No one rarely ever leaves and their lives and careers are based in this small town.

Lina, not wanting to become Ethan Frome, she was always keane on leaving and what she calls "Actually doing something with my life." An eye and talent for acting, she took up acting in high school during her senior year. The drama club had been idle for some time and luckily revived itself in her final year of high school. Quick on comedy and improv, she knew this was something she always wanted to do. Acting. Lina was the first of the drama group led by Shelly Hudson to go onto to college to study theatre.

In February 2004, Lina received notification that she was accepted into the theatre program at PSU prior to her audition. In part of her acceptance letter from the director of theatre at PSU "We thought you made some strong acting choices. You have been accepted into the program with an option in acting."

Lina received her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Plymouth State University in 2006. During her training at Plymouth State University she received voice and acting training from Elizabeth Cox and Direction training from Paul Mroczka. Some of her past roles include Antigone from Antigone, Herrick Simmons from The Art of Dining, and Pyramus/Nick Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Her quick comedy and improv quirks are truly visible on and offstage. Dialect training includes upper class British, Japanese, and Southern. She learned her basic stage combat skills from taking a workshop with actor/fight coordinator Kevin Asselin.

In November of 2007, Lina packed her bags and moved out to Chicago to persue her career in Acting.

On her leisure time, Lina enjoys watching Lost, video editing, web designing, and hanging out with friends.
